It's good to see another Libertarian. Escellent stuff man. Hope you don't mind if I watch your account.
although i disagree with practically everything you have to say and your libertarian viewpoint...i respect your ability to maintain a civil debate... cheers!

keep reading and keep an open mind...
Wow, I just got around to reading 1984, and loved it. I wish I been required to read it in high school. But the thing is, I would willingly live in the world under English Socialism. I wouldn't be suffering, as I would not have any memory of better times. It's the same thing when the warkofsysofoafdlaksjdfisky(the "w" word) brothers ripped the concept with Cypher's view of the matrix. I definitely agree with him. Since I cynically don't care about the purging of the human spirit, I'd rather live in a society of lies. I would be quite simple. No responsibility other than what is cut out for you by the party. Fuck individualism, I'll take a lack complications, and a side of self discipline.
Have only shimmered through Your page, so far... But it's encouraging me... ;) - I'll probably be writing back in the new year...!

It's true that being against war, whatever the cost, might seem naive... But the "pro-war" population seems, constantly, to forget that that is not the issue... The issue is (in my humble opinion...): One country (USA) making judgement on behalf of rest of the world, on whats right and whats wrong...
And furthermore... hiding their real agneda in "supporting human rights" -talk... This is scary - and the Human Rights-issue suffers from it, in the long run!

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that Saddam was caught! .. (Even furthermore, if he's given a fair trial!) ...

But who'll be his replacement???

... I wish You All A Very Pleasant X-mass, & A Happy New Year!!!!
Communism only works on paper. As soon as you introduce it to people like me (the greedy and the discontent), it falls to pieces. I'd rather push a pencil for $9.50/h than shovel shit for the same rate. In fact, I'd even start a war to...:ekud:
I believe the perfect society would be some form of social democratic autocracy. It would be exploited, though, like everything else. I believe that thus far, captialism has proved to be at least partially successful. Society is slowly (or rapidly, depending on how you look at it) deteriorating, however. Man will always destroy. There's no way around it.
your very interesting
i'd like to just listen to you have a conversation with someone

most follow mindlessly, others think
but in the end we are all only following
have you recognised your leader(s)?
